About Us

With a heritage that dates back to Cable & Wireless, Wirefast is a Global Messaging Service Provider of secure managed messaging solutions that improve, automate and enhance the way businesses communicate.

Our service combines the convenience of email with the added benefits of improved reliability, a full audit trail and the flexibility to deliver in the recipient's preferred format. It means that our customers have the confidence that vital information will reach clients when they need it to and in the way they want it – without the cost of customer care resources or paper based processes.

Since 1986, we have been providing the Newslink news wire service to the UK news industry, a high availability messaging application used by thousands of news contributors and media outlets around the globe. It’s just one of the ways in which we engage with enterprises around the world; every month, we deliver millions of messages for many of the world’s largest companies, including five of the top ten investment banks, FTSE 100 corporations, UK Government bodies and all of the major UK newspaper groups.

Since our inception, we have experienced significant year-on-year growth in our chosen enterprise market, with increases in SMS, for example, of 139% from 2008 to 2009.
